2012 Back to School…with Free Printables

Are your kids back in school, or are you one of the incredibly lucky ones to still be enjoying your summer? We started back last week. My oldest is an official 1st grader…a big transition for us since this now means all-day school! After the rough start we had last year, I have to admit that I was a bit concerned how this new transition would go. But in all honesty, it appears to be a bigger adjustment for those of us left behind, than it has been for her!

Anyway, if you’ve yet to celebrate Back to School this year, I’ve updated a couple of printables that I wanted to share with you…

The first is my favorite…Party Popper Wraps. We celebrated with them the evening before school started, along with root beer floats. So simple, yet so fun! My kiddos are anxiously awaiting the first day of preschool in a couple of weeks so we can celebrate again.

The second is Treat Bag Toppers. They are available in 2 sizes: both for the 4-inch wide treat bags (shown here), and also for the tops of sandwich or snack-sized zipper bags (since I realize that’s what you’re most likely to have on hand). We filled ours with skittles and took them along when we picked up my girly on her first full day of school!

You can get all the downloads by clicking on the image below!

Cheers!

We are back to school the first week of September. My four year old is starting junior kindergarten which, in my area, is an all day, Monday to Friday thing. Thanks for the printables! I’m thinking I’ll surprise him and his sister with them in their lunches…

  • Very cute!! And yes, I imagine it would be a bigger adjustment on those “left behind”!! How come preschool starts later than grade 1?

Our kiddos attend to our church’s preschool, which has always started after Labor Day. Unfortunately, the public schools start way earlier and get out way later in the year too!

    Cindy,
Could you please make this label with 2013 on it and provide it as a download. It is stinking adorable . Would love to use for first day of school in August. Students would love it.. Thanks in advance!
