Celebrating Back to School

With school just around the corner, we invited cousins to stay with us for an incredible last week of summer! Together, we visited kids’ museums, played at the parks, and simply enjoyed lots of dress-up play along with the precious sounds of singing, giggling and laughing.  This fall brings some significant changes for our kiddos. Our older ones are all headed off for their first year of preschool and Kindergarten. So before we parted ways, we took a minute to celebrate this fun new adventure.

First, we made these back to school bookworm apples using the printable from One Charming Party

Then, we took a minute to document this fun time with a few cousin snapshots!

A special thanks to a dear friend who pointed me to these super cute signs which say “I’m a Preschooler”…or “I’m a Kindergartener”…etc. They can be downloaded at I Heart Nap Time, courtesy of Telisa from Sugar Tots Designs!

I have a few more Back to School plans to work on this weekend before my Kindergartener’s big day on Tuesday! For starters, I plan on decorating her breakfast with this Hello Kindergartener pick that we also used to celebrate after her preschool graduation.

If you’d like to print your own, you can find the download for grades Preschool thru 5th grade here.
