This week marked a huge milestone for me. One that came more quickly than I could ever have imagined.
I watched my sweet girl put on her backpack and head to preschool for the very last time. And for the first time, had the privilege of hearing Pomp and Circumstance play for one of my own children. With the very first notes, I began fighting to hold back my tears. I wasn’t prepared for the effect it would have on me. I was proud of the little lady she had grown into, happy for all the moments we shared that led up to this one, and sad that all too soon, life was about to change! No longer am I just a mom with preschoolers and toddlers running around my feet. Now I’m entering the stage of being a mom of school-age kiddos. I’m not sure that I’m ready for all the big kid stuff that comes along with it. But that’s a problem for another day. For today, we will celebrate!
At breakfast, celebrate the end of our joyful preschool years!!
And after school, celebrate the promise of tomorrow and the excitment that Kindergarten will bring!!
I thought you might enjoy celebrating with your little ones too! If so, just click the image below to print your own end-of-school celebration picks. The download includes picks for preschool through 5th Grade.

I am excited to use these for my preschooler, soon to be kindergartener! I also have a younger daughter that will be starting preschool. Any chance of adding a “Hello Preschool” for her?
