Goldfish & Bubbles Valentine

We finished up making the kids’ Valentines this weekend. To make it easy, we came up with something that worked for all three of them!

Little bags of Goldfish, bubble wands and a fish bowl Valentine…all tied up in a little baggie just like you’d bring a goldfish home from the county fair.

A version for my boy…

And for the girls…

You can easily duplicate our Valentines. Simply find your favorite fish bowl clip art. Add some hearts for the bubbles, and then decide on what text you’d like to add. I made ours just using the tools available in Microsoft Powerpoint.

Just had to tell you that I saw this post this weekend. I sent it to my daughter, who has a 13-month-old girl, thinking she could file it away for the future. My daughter called and said the email arrived at the perfect time because they have to have Valentines for daycare. She found the bubbles, figured out some graphics and viola! They have Valentines. Thank you! Her husband said, “Do you want to waste this cute idea on 1-year-olds?” I think it will be used in years to come, too.

Aw, thank you for sharing that, Kim. Sometimes I question my blogging when I feel overwhelmed at the weight of caring for our home and my family. I wonder if this is the best use of my time. But comments like this encourage me to press on! There are so many others out there who encourage and inspire me and make my life eaiser through sharing their ideas, and that’s why I feel compelled to share with other mamas. Thank you for the timely reminder!!
