Let no one ever come to you without leaving better and happier. Be the living expression of God’s kindness: kindness in your face, kindness in your eyes, kindness in your smile. ~ Mother Teresa
Everyday, we have the ability to impact the world, right where we’re at. We have the opportunity to touch the lives of all those who cross our paths. Whether it be offering a kind word, giving a smile, providing our encouragement, or performing some small gesture…we have the chance to leave the world a little better than we found it. And who knows, our one little deed might continue to grow in the heart of the one who received it…inspiring him to reach out to another…until the seed of our love has reached countless others.
Think of the lives we could touch if we, along with our children, aspired to perform an intentional act of kindness every single day. I for one am excited about the possibilities. So, beginning November 1st, I am looking forward to accepting Jenae’s challenge over at I Can Teach My Child:But in the meantime, I will join her in “fervently praying for more of God’s spirit in my life and in my heart”.
Here are some great sources for ideas and inspiration if you’d like to join in with your own 30 Days of Intentional Kindness.
